In April 2022, Crnogorski Telekom launched a green campaign because the company decided to reward the recycling of old devices with free data and discounts on devices and services, but raising awareness with the green campaign was the most important aspect. That’s why Telekom committed to plant 100 trees in Montenegrin cities to match the first 100 old devices recycled.

At the same time, Crnogorski Telekom launched a big donor initiative for the tree-planting campaign in the park-forest of Gorica (Podgorica), devastated a year ago by a huge forest fire. All Telekom postpaid and prepaid customers could therefore donate EUR 1 through the Telekom ME App img, and Telekom doubled each donation.

Lastly, Telekom Volunteers Club participated – through volunteering and donations – in the biggest coastal cleanup campaign organized in Montenegro to mark International Coastal Cleanup Day. On the same occasion, Telekom promoted the importance of recycling old devices by rewarding customers with free data and discounts on devices for those bringing recyclable devices to T-stores.
