In 2024, we will be transmitting twice as much data in Europe as we did in 2020 – but there will be no rise in our power consumption. We do not want to be the cause of any more electronic waste. Even at the technology development stage, it is vital to remember that products need to be suitable for recycling later on. We refurbish cell phones, for example, to extend their service life. When a device can no longer be used, we ensure as many raw materials as possible are reused.
