Our “Cuenta Conmigo” program supports the volunteering engagement of our employees and provides assistance in sustainable, long-term projects. The efforts of our employees and their links with non-profit organizations enable us to provide solutions for various social problems.
T-Systems Mexico employees support this engagement through the “Count on Me” program. They make a contribution by volunteering, donating money, and participating in the “Run with a Cause” running events in Puebla. This year, the “Count on Me” program supported 2 different non-profit organizations: the Altruistic Donors’ Foundation (DAP), and the Special Center for Rehabilitation and Learning A.C (C.E.R.A.).
C.E.R.A. (Special Center for Rehabilitation and Learning A.C.) is a non-profit civil organization in Puebla with 17 years of experience in comprehensive healthcare. More than 400 children and young people with cerebral palsy are being treated in physical rehabilitation to prepare them for integration into society as self-sufficient subjects able to engage socially and enjoy an improved level of wellbeing. T-Systems exceeded its goal of raising EUR 1,712, collecting EUR 2,019. This will benefit 30 children and young people with cerebral palsy by providing improved facilities, physiotherapy equipment, and volunteering to carry out activities within the NGO.
DAP (Altruistic Donors’ Foundation) is a non-profit civil organization that promotes voluntary and regular blood donations. It also supports poor and vulnerable families living with a relative in a hospital situation. The foundation works to support children with serious illnesses such as cancer, leukemia, kidney failure, and genetic conditions.
The initial program only encompassed blood donation, but programs have been developed to address the needs of families with relatives living in hospital. The programs are aimed at meeting the basic needs of these people including food, clothing, medicines, diapers, hygiene products, oncological wigs, and funeral arrangements.
