In line with the climate targets imposed by the government and the associated targets related to corporate social responsibility (CSR) from Deutsche Telekom AG and T-Systems International, T-Systems Nederland decided to make its current vehicle fleet more sustainable. The aim of T-Systems Netherlands is for all lease cars to be fossil-free by 2025 with a fleet consisting solely of electric vehicles. We are delighted that employees have consciously opted for an electric lease car since 2021. This development must be continued, so the decision has been taken to stop purchasing new petrol lease cars in 2022. As from 1 July 2022, it has only been possible to order electric lease cars, so the vehicle fleet will be fully electric by 2025. This change has been agreed with employee representatives and included in the travel policy. Staff were informed about this change and they have been familiarized with driving an electric lease car. T-Systems Nederland is creating awareness by sharing information about electric driving and conscious travel behavior in cooperation with our lease suppliers. The travel policy of T-Systems Nederland also includes useful tips on how to drive your car more sustainably (eco-driving) in order to make employees aware of this.
